Several years ago I was having a tough time money was tight, my husband I were separated I was in the dumps. One particular morning I decided to splurge for coffee. I scounged through my purse and car to find enough money for an espresso knowing that it was not something I needed – when I went to pay for my coffee the barista told me that my coffee had been paid for by the person ahead of me. It couldn’t have happened on a better day and impacted me greatly. I have done the same for others many times and I always think of that kind stranger – it makes my heart feel lighter.
